Death Parade (デス・パレード Desu Parēdo) is an anime series created by Yuzuru Tachikawa, a producer from Madhouse. It is based off of the 2013 animated short film Death Billiards, also created by Yuzuru Tachikawa. It started airing on January 10, 2015. The series has 12 episodes in total.
Synopsis & Setting[]
The series revolves around Decim, the bartender and arbiter of the Quindecim, and his assistant the black-haired woman. If two people die at the same time, they are sent to various bars to play a game, with their lives on the line. Arbiters receive their "customers" with varying parts of the customers' memories erased. How they behave during their game affects the arbiters judgment on their souls.
