Yousuke Tateishi is one of the guests who died in Death Parade. He is judged by Decim and Chiyuki.

Appearance

He has short black hair and wears red framed glasses. He wears socks with crocs, blue shorts, a black collared shirt with an untucked white undershirt. He also has a black wristband on his left wrist.

Personality

Yousuke is quiet and reclusive, his hobby is is simply listed as "Otaku". He is shown with stacks of video games and comics in his room. He is a typical Otaku interested in movies and figures. In Episode 4 his special combos were called "Love Figurine Upper", "Shrine Pilgrimage Attack", and "Blu-Ray Phalanx". His Ultimate Move was called "Suppertime: Home Cooked Attack".

After growing up with an abusive mother, Yousuke became reclusive and disinterested in his step mother. He was shown to be a loner in high school.

He later shows remorse at not being kinder to his stepmother.

History

After being abused by his mother and witnessing his parent's divorce, Yousuke fell into a state of depression. He lived with his father and his new step mom whom he never wanted to get close to. The depression also seemed to distance him from others (especially in school). Through the lack of social interaction and depression he started living his life as a hikikomori. His step mother said she wishes Yousuke would call her "momma" which he deeply regrets not doing after his suicide.
